This week look out for 2 new tasks, Furniture and Pots. These tasks will be used to collate your research on each of the topics.
You have two choices with your tasks.
This week you have been sent the task sheet for calculating the area and perimeter of the OLA you have selected.
If you want more information don't forget to look at the OLA website. This week we are going to be building our own blog using Google Sites. The people who are away will need to catch up next lesson. This blog will be used as a learning journal for all subjects and anything you find interesting. It will also be used to display work for your teachers. Please tell me one thing you have learnt or done this week. Write a comment below in the following letter Format.
Hi Mrs E This week I have been working on ...... I learnt (how to/about) ...... Next week am going to ..... From First Name only The only task due this term is the mind map.
What is the task?
We are currently researching plants, furniture and ideas to allow us to redesign an outdoor learning area. There are two outdoor areas for you to choose from. Area one is the quad/handball area near the year 4 rooms. The second area you may choose to redesign in the grassed area between the clinic and the year 2 rooms. When you are designing your Outdoor Learning Area (OLA) you should plan your plants, gardens and other features for one of these areas.
Year 5 have been chosen to redesign an area of the primary school. We will be renovating an area of the school to make it more enjoyable for learning, reading and playing.
Watch this space for where and updates on what we are doing. You might also like to check out the year 5 blog - year5scas.weebly.com |
