Have you got any remote control (rc) cars that you don't use any more? Spencer in year 8 decided to design and build this remote control table. Look for it in the library soon. This table has the inside of 2 rc cars as the wheels. What can you make with your old remote control cars? Want to know more? Read about it here. What are pictures made of? They are made of Pixels. Watch this YouTube to find out more. What can you draw this this pencilcode.net game created by Amos in Year 4?
http://amosquito.pencilcode.net/edit/vediogame This is the code you would need to complete the turtle tutorial, fill it in green and draw eyes. Can you make the legs different colours and maybe draw a pattern on the shell?
Try this game created by Owen in year 3. Great effort!!

The school now has 10 boxes. Look out for them in the makerspace, ICE Block or your classroom next term. Here are some pictures of GoldiBlox and a Youtube on how to build a dunk tank for Nacho the dog. What can you build with them? Launching a rocket into space? What fuel do you need? After some interesting launches the rocket did make it into the air. This rocket came in a kit. It has balsa wood fins, a stopper and a tube that keeps the bicarb separate until it it mixed with the vinegar. To mix the powder and vinegar you tip the bottle and then place carefully on the ground. Ingredients: 1 cup of vinegar and 3 tablespoons of bicarb in a softdrink bottle. Need some ideas to build your own rocket? Try this site: http://inspirationlaboratories.com/ways-to-build-a-rocket/ Do you love science? Are you a budding film maker?
