Today 3H worked on how to use blockly turtle. They were given several challenges.
3H were amazing. They earnt lots of dojo points today completing these challenges. A fantastic effort for their second lesson with code and minimal instructions. Today's Challenge Can you create a pattern with multiple coloured pens using Blockly Turtle? Comment when you have done it. If you can take a picture of your screen I would love to see a picture.
Below is a simple QR Code. Here is a fancy qr code with the school logo. To make qr codes google "QR Code generator"
I used: http://www.qrstuff.com/ Fancy Codes: https://www.unitaglive.com/qrcode http://www.visualead.com/ Right click on the picture and choose Save As. This will save it to your computer so you use it later. (You must be over 13 to create an account and save your code online.) Pencilcode.net is a web based browser that lets you control a turtle's movement by changing the code in the left part of the screen. The guide button takes you to lots of premade programs that you can copy and modify to make your own things. Best of all you can save your work without an email address. This program is free for all users and you can browse the files of other people. Make sure you acknowledge other users if you are using their work. If you make any awesome drawings send me a link. Technology keeps getting smaller and smaller. My iPhone replaces almost everything in the picture. Can you guess what each of these objects do? You might need some help from an adult who remembers having one of these items. I love technology it a great way to communicate with friends and makes lots of jobs much easier. Can you find any pictures of things that have been replaced by much smaller technology. |
